VICTORIAN RESTORATION IN THE FRUITVALE DISTRICT OF OAKLAND, CA

Built in 1890, The Hardie-Brown House is a two-story wood-framed Queen Anne Victorian that was home to Major League Baseball catcher Lou Hardie from 1891 to 1912. Alison Siegel Sanchez, Creative Director at Gaslight Interiors, won second place in the Interior Rehabilitation category of the Great American Home Awards sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation for the restoration of the home.
